Role: Senior Engineer – Civil/Rail Infrastructure
Location: Tonbridge
Salary: £60-70k

We are looking for a Site Engineer to join a growing rail infrastructure business. You will play a key role in shaping and expanding the company’s in-house delivery capability. As Site Engineer, you will be leading projects to Network Rail standards, driving accessibility improvements, and contributing to the growth of one of the UK’s fastest-growing rail infrastructure companies.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and delivery of civils and infrastructure works in line with Network Rail standards and project requirements.
• Develop, review, and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality plans, and method statements to ensure compliance and safety.
• Provide hands-on surveying and setting-out using total stations, Trimble, and other digital tools.
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and quality checks to verify works are delivered to specification and standards.

Requirements:
• Experience in civils/infrastructure engineering, ideally the rail sector.
• Hands-on experience with total stations, Trimble, and other surveying equipment.
• Experience preparing and reviewing ITPs, VoS documentation, and quality plans.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and compliance requirements.
