Hours: 37 hr/week Mon–Thu: 08:00–16:30 and Fri: 08:00–13:00
 
A global engineering manufacturer is looking for an R&D Technician to join its product development team in Peterborough. This is a practical, hands-on workshop role, building test rigs and testing components.
You will be helping generate the data used to validate new products and improvements.
 
Responsibilities:

• Operating test rigs and prototype components.
• Instrumentation setup, data capture, and recording.
• Preparing components for testing (strain gauges, soldering, assembly).

 
Requirements:

• Experience soldering electronic components.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Able to follow written procedures and record accurate data.
