Maintenance Technician
Location: Ansty, Coventry
Maintenance Technician (Maintenance Engineer) required to conduct Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance work on CNC machines and Conventional Machines and other types of Factory Plant equipment.
Duties
- Make repairs to CNC machines, plant and equipment
- Implement planned corrective maintenance in a scheduled equipment shutdown situation
- Undertake planned preventive maintenance on plant and equipment
- Provide an installation and refurbishment service for plant equipment as required
- Support operations by providing any agreed training in first line maintenance procedures.
- Work on both Early and Late Shifts – rotating fortnightly (no nights or weekends)
Requirements
- Engineering Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualifications
- Previous experience of conducting mechanical and electrical repairs on CNC machines is essential.
- Knowledge of plant equipment and services is essential. This includes fault finding, understanding and working from machine and plant drawings / manuals.
- Experience with TPM’s and PM’s on Plant and Machinery.
- Must be physically fit and prepared to walk several miles per day. Normal sight and hearing ranges are required.
- Required to work in all areas of the site – must be prepared to work in hazardous areas.
- Must be able to work both Early and Late shifts and rotate fortnightly
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable (but not essential)
- Knowledge of working on hydraulic power packs and test rigs would be desirable.
- 18th Edition would be desirable.
- Working knowledge of statutory regulations is desirable.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Word and Excel would be desirable.
