Health & Safety Manager – Datacentre

Responsibilities:

• Proactively implement, monitor, and assess risk control measures.
• Attend key meetings to track progress, raise concerns, and help resolve problems collaboratively.
• Act as a visible safety leader on site, driving day-to-day H&S management and leading safety audits.
• Develop and deliver the project’s safety strategy and procedures, ensuring engagement and buy-in from all partners.
• Ensure contractors follow best-in-class safety practices and procedures.
• Lead the maintenance of health and safety management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001).
• Investigate safety incidents, identify root causes, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.
• Provide clear and timely safety updates to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally on data centre or other critical infrastructure projects.
• Relevant Health & Safety qualifications (degree and/or certifications).
• Track record of success on large-scale international construction projects.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Chartered Health & Safety status or working towards it.
• Experience working within global teams.
