We are looking for an Embedded Test Engineer to join the R&D Test Team of a specialist robotics company in Redhill, Surrey. Embedded Test Engineers will develop the company’s firmware testing capabilities and work on improving and automating test scripts in Python.
 
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the office, 2 from home after probation.
 
Responsibilities:
 

• Develop and maintains the test automation framework and tools for firmware and
• Runs automation and manual tests for new firmware and software
• Develop and contribute towards firmware test process
• Planning, organizing, and reporting on testing phases of
• Performing regular testing of firmware as part of the release
• Documenting test results and liaising with development
• Setting up of heavy test equipment and rigs and in safe
• Act as firmware technical expert for customers, stakeholders, and other teams.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Robotics, Electronics, Computer Science or similar.
• Strong skills in Python development.
• Experience with both automated and manual testing of software and firmware.
