Electrical Site Engineer required for a project based in Egypt.
Minimum 10 month contract

Scope of Work:

• Monitor and comment/advise on the ongoing implementation of the EPC Contract and energy management system by the EPC contractor
• Perform quality checks of the major equipment and project deliveries in general: This activity will involve following quality assurance plan for electrical and civil activities onsite
• Review and comment on monthly reports developed by the EPC contractor
• Prepare and publish weekly updates and monthly status reports highlighting any delays and agreed catch up plan with the EPC Contractor as well as maintaining direct contact with Client’s Project Manager
• Support commissioning (system turnover, start-up tests etc.): This activity involves reviewing commissioning schedule, procedure and results. The consultants team will witness overall commissioning and provide report for the same
• Compile a commissioning and operational readiness plan including an review of HAZOP study, if applicable;
• Make recommendations to the Client on potential corrective actions requests (CARs) and assisting in the coordination of construction work and controlling of sequences in accordance with construction contract requirements
• Onsite material/ equipment validation as per plan: This activity will involve tracking equipment arrival schedule in line with project plan and specification. The Consultant will perform close co-ordination with the EPC Contractor for such purpose
