This role is diverse and has a variety of elements to it that make it interesting and challenging.
As a wheelchair technician, you will need to provide technical and practical support for the user, this includes things such as
- Assessing home environment
- Programming wheelchair
- Resolving technical issues
- Assessing the end users ability
- Manual handling
If you have a qualification within Mechanical Engineering or experience within a previous wheelchair technician role or just completed a Rehab Engineering qualification then this may be the right role for you.
All candidates are subject to an enhanced DBS check due the nature of the role
