Supplier Quality Engineer - SQA Engineer
Supplier Development / Performance
Do you work within Continuous Improvement?
Are you highly experience within Lean engineering?
Do you have a background in analysis of excel data from suppliers?
Would you like to work for a company where you will have a major influence on supplier CI direction & strategy?
Would you like to work for an organisation known for their business excellence?
We are looking to recruit a Supplier Development to work strategise and implement the Continuous improvement for suppliers to this major UK manufacturer.
They are looking to secure the services of a person who is still very hands on and would like influence the direction of sub contract suppliers in the UK.

This role will encompass managing ongoing Supplier Performance and drive continuous improvements.

·Analysis of Excel based warranty data
·Identify trends within the data (part number / failure mode / supplier)
·Collaborate with suppliers on potential root causes
·Gather evidence to support root cause findings
·Identify & implement corrective actions with suppliers
·Supplier visits to review / audit manufacturing process
·Present findings to stakeholder group
·


Skills, experience and qualifications you will have;

  • Previous experience within a relevant function i.e. preferably quality or engineering
  • Analytical, problem solving
  • Effective communication skills
·Auditing overall supplier capability and process control implementation and effectiveness to validate process capability.
·Resolution and implementation of robust solutions for quality problems associated with purchased materials and engineering issues (Robust 8D adherence and closure).
·Participation in quality improvement meetings
·Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards within this diverse global organization


Duration - Longterm
Rate - £30 - £35 ph
