Job Description
Working in an engineering manufacturing company in Peterborough, this role is to provide support in validating new and existing software updates to ensure they are performing within expectations before wider release.
Candidates will need experience of complex control systems whether that be automotive, aerospace, defence or complex special purpose machinery.
This support is primarily Data Analysis of large datasets for fault finding, using MATLAB / DIAdem or similar.
Candidate should have experience of understanding & interpreting control strategies, and then analysing the data to ensure things are working correctly.
Hands-on test cell software support is required. Sometimes taking code or suggesting code, writing scripts and flashing through onto live test bed. Also checking live data as it is coming off to marry up with data they have analysed.
Plus documenting and presenting results.
Experience in using 1D simulations is beneficial (Simulink or similar)
This role is deemed inside IR35
£45-£50ph
This is a hybrid role for 12 months, with a mixture of working on site in Peterborough, and working from home
