Have you worked in an Engineering or Manufacturing biased sales office?
Do you have good experience of coordinating orders / aftersales for products that are yet to be manufactured?

If so, please read on!

Sales Co-ordinator / Administrator on a contract basis.

This job requires the management of all new sales orders for Aftersales, from raising a quotation to support the sales team in the field to working with production and delivery of the required service.

Sales forecast updates
Sales per month reporting
Progress updates to customers

Raising quotations on behalf of the sales team,
Office based point of contact for customer enquiries, issue and follow-up of quotations
Working in support of achieving sales targets such as taking sales enquiries and negotiating with the factory for the sales team,
Co-ordination of service delivery with equipment manufacturers from arrival through to despatch to ensure the most efficient route through the factory,
Attending weekly production meetings to monitor progress of conversions and feeding back any issues to customers through the Gateway process,
Liaising with cross functional teams in processing sales orders
Sales invoicing
Analysing sales results and providing regular meaningful data such as sales per month against target,
To provide support to other team members and cover during holiday and absence.

The prospective candidate is required to have a working knowledge of Microsoft based applications. Word/ Excel etc

·Experience in a Customer Service Environment
·Previous experience of working in a sales office environment is essential, ideally from a technical manufacturing industry
·Technically minded
·A highly motivated, enthusiastic team player who is driven to deliver
·Effective organiser and confident communicator
·Basic knowledge of import/export processes
·Fully conversant with MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook and calendars
·Previous experience of working with a CRM/ERP system
·Additional languages such as French would be preferred

Hours:8:00am to 5:00pm
Rate: £11 (Paye) - £14 (Ltd/Umbrella) ph (doe and pay status, you can work self employed or paye)

This is a contract position that is likely to last 6-12 months, although highly likely to last longer.

If you are also able to speak French or similar mainland European language this to could also be an advantage (although is definitely not essential)
