My London based client is currently recruiting for Motor Vehicle Recovery Driver to join their experienced team on a permanent basis.

Provide a reliable, efficient and courteous vehicle recovery and delivery service to the customer; delivering customer vehicles to Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) sites, workshops, external dealerships and other locations across Greater London and surrounding areas. Present to the customer a professional self-image and Company image through excellent service, safe operation, and timeliness. Perform necessary documentation timely and correctly according to procedures in effect.
Responsibilities
- Provide a prompt, professional and efficient vehicle recovery and delivery service that delivers customer satisfaction in line with Company targets and standards
- Using recovery and slide back duties when tasked, ensure vehicles are available for use in the correct locations determined by customer
- Respond to and deal with customer enquiries through provision of accurate and reliable information / advice
- Ensure vehicles are collected and delivered on time, and presented to a standard acceptable to the customer
- Complete all paperwork and processes accurately and thoroughly in line with company requirements
- Assist in making sure vehicles are clean and suitable for the customer before delivery
- Attend and participate in such training courses as deemed necessary
- Demonstrate safety, integrity & commitment at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
- Knowledge of using Flatbed Recovery Trucks
- Ability to read A-Z and journey plan daily route
- Understand Tachograph and Working Time Directive
- Full C+E license with no previous disqualifications from driving (DR, CD, DD, IN OR TT99 endorsements will not be accepted)
- Be in possession of a Driver Qualification Card having completed 35 hours CPC training
- Good verbal communication and inter-personal skills both face to face and on telephone
- Able to satisfy Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) requirements
