I am currently recruiting for a route cause / corrective action engineer to work across the engineering team of an aerospace manufacture, investigating defects arising from:
Engineering (certification failure)
Manufacturing (Scrap)
Warrantee returns (in-service failures)
The role is offered on a contract basis with a daily rate of £300 Ltd
You will be working across design, manufacturing, materials selection, customer service to investigate and rectify defects and failures.
Typical activities:
Design prototypes for determining and demonstrating root cause
Create test procedures that deliver the required results to support RCCA activities
Support customer reviews by presenting data and explaining complex results
Contribute to continual process improvement, in support of the company business and strategic objectives
Interpret complex data from test results, X-ray, CT scans and sections to identify evidence to support root cause determination
Support Materials Engineer in material selection and root cause analysis
Provide investigation reports including corrective action suggestions and lessons learned
