We are working with a locally based company looking to recruit a key player within their manufacturing engineering team. They are a Major local company supplying many some very well known and key Prime Contractors & OEMs across Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Space & other high technology markets
An exciting opportunity for an QA Engineer to join a local, well respected organisation based just outside of Yeovil who are currently enjoying some sustained growth;
Key Skills (if you tick most of these boxes, we want to hear from you!)
§Excellent understanding of quality improvement tools
§Practical experience in Quality Assurance
§Background in Manufacturing - Ideally composite assembly, structural composite components or structural assemblies & materials
§Solid understanding of RCPS or RCCA tools and techniques
§Work with NPI team, performing studies on new equipment to establish control points and correct settings.
§Ability to analyse nonconforming data and make recommendations for process improvements.
§PPAP, Supplier development, Control Plans,
§Knowledge of quality system methodologies
§Good problem-solving abilities using systemic, logical, and sequential approaches
§Training in auditing techniques (advantageous, not essential)
Supporting an complex engineering & manufacturing environment which produces high value, medium batch sized equipment.
This is a unique time to join a company who are experiencing growth and looking to recruit a contractor who can aid in improving their current quality practices and will have a big influence on the quality assurance and quality engineering parts of this business.
They are looking for a Quality professional who can join them and develop (not re-design!) existing quality process & procedures and help steer the companies quality processes that will have influence for years to come.
The role is offered on a long term contract basis, paying £32 - £35 Ltd ph. It is expected to turn into a very long term rolling contract.
Although we have indicated a hourly rate range, the client is open to justifiable applications outside of this on a case by case basis
