We require a QA Engineer for a local Engineering company.

An active member of the Quality Assurance team ensuring product compliance and facility QHSE management system effectiveness through the proactive actions within and maintenance of the QHSE management system.

Supporting NPI programmes with SME accountability from a Product Quality and Quality Systems perspective to ensure effective execution of the product lifecycle.

Supporting the implementation of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management principles (CI, BIQ, SFMEA, SSoW etc.) and product quality principles (Right First Time, CI etc.) throughout the facility through the deployment of system and process updates and training programmes.

Essential Skills
•Degree / HND level in electrical or mechanical engineering or similar experience
•Proven experience in setting up and driving product or process improvement programmes is essential
•Demonstrable understanding of Quality Assurance principles and their application in supporting business success is essential
•Proven experience in leading problem solving activities; establishing root cause and interim and long term corrective actions is essential
•An effective communicator, being able to disseminate information or principles to different levels across an organisation
•Self-motivated to seek opportunities for improvement within the organisation, willing to take on new challenges for the mutual benefit of the Company and oneself
•Capable inter-personal skills to work effectively within the department and across the Company to achieve positive results. Able to negotiate from a position of confidence whilst maintaining positivity in the discussions
·Capable of Conduct internal BMS Audits and enable process improvement(s).
·Drive process adherence in the Module and defined support areas.
·Support maintenance and improvement in procedures and processes related to Quality & manufacturing processes.
·Support the execution of Quality best practices' - MRB: Fast Response; FPY: Quality Clinic; Layered Process Audits.
·Re-enforcement of Quality behaviours through training, support, assessment and audit.
·Drive effective Root Cause and corrective action through the organisation.
·Customer Focal (assigned customers) - drive performance improvements to exceed customer expectations.
