KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
An opportunity exists for A Quality Analyst at our facility. The Analyst will be responsible for providing data analysis and problem solving support to aTest Facility, analysing EASS data trends and performance. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a register of critical tooling and measurement interfaces to ensure their calibration / conformance for use.
This is a pivotal role in the organisation and is fundamental to the ongoing development / deployment to ensure that business targets and objectives are achieved in the areas of People, Quality, Velocity and Cost.

Quality
• Analysis of the test results, performance data, highlighting trends and any non-conformance to the Test Quality Engineer
• Develop and maintain critical tooling and measurement equipment register ensuring acceptance for use, quarantine for repair any non-conforming items.
• Auditing hot test process, schedules and quality process to the relevant procedures.

Velocity

• Work in a flexible and efficient manner to achieve production targets in line with our CPS metrics.
• Support process and productivity improvements that will increase efficiency through the elimination of waste.
• Support all process change activities (NPI, Modifications etc.)
• Participate in all continuous improvement activities.

Cost

• Taking care of all company equipment (eg. tools and facilities).
• Eliminating waste (eg. Control of consumables / working in an efficient manner)
• Advise Section Manager on required overtime to meet production plan

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Essential:
·Competent PC literacy and use of Microsoft office packages and business software such as Lotus Notes
·Operations background to demonstrate understanding of manufacturing quality processes
Desirable:
·Experience working with Cross-functional teams
·Experience working remotely as part of a wider team
·Knowledge of Quality related tools and methodology, including APQP, 8D, FMEA, SPC
·Demonstration of post GCSE level education is desirable
·Engineering Qualification
·Technical knowledge of engine problem solving - ability to work with engines and diagnose faults


This is a long term, ongoing role that is likely to last some time.

Pay Rate £17 - £22 ph (Ltd)
