Do you have previous experience of aiding Project managers & project engineers in the planning and monitoring 20-30 different project & programmes?
Would you be interested in working with one of the local areas most technically advance companies?

We are seeking a switched on, dynamic project planner with expert skills in MS Project to aid our clients project engineers & project managers to plan out the progress of very diverse & sometimes very different projects.
These projects will be multiple projects of varying difficulty and all at very different stages of lifecycle.

Role purpose (position scope)
Core competencies

Project Planner is responsible for working closely with Programme/Project Managers, Technical Experts and the Bid teams in creating and managing project plans & schedules.
Works closely with others in linking critical activities across multiple projects and providing accurate resource forecasts at the Portfolio level. Creating and publishing high level integrated master schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Qualifications and Experience
•Coordinates and tracks multiple key projects and tasks.
•Performs as a lead scheduler while assisting department with change projects.
•Maintains a resource loaded and networked program schedule for on-going and change projects that can be utilized to analyse resource allocations, mission completion dates, and what if analysis.
•Tracks and updates personnel and projects progress and critical path on a daily basis.
•Creates tracking reports for various levels of management.
•Coordinates project schedules and recommends appropriate lead-lag times.
•Highlights and provides support for resource management.
•Provides forward looking schedule analysis to Leadership.
•Interfaces between PMO Leads and Programme/Project to gather data and adjust scheduling parameters.
•Contributes to Bid proposal preparation efforts.
•Performs other duties and assignments as required.
•Degree plus at least 6 years' experience working in project teams or 8 years' experience of working in project teams
•Highly numerate and analytical
•Expert user of Microsoft Project to manage resources
•Knowledge and demonstrable experience of PPM techniques
Key measures and milestones
•Completion of project reports and analysis accurately, on time and within cost to the required quality parameters.
•Provision of consulting services in areas of specialism
•Generation and delivery of all required project metrics/reports to the required company standards and in a timely fashion
