I am currently recruiting for a well rounded Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer that has ideally worked within machining or assembly.
Candidates with a mix of the following skills will be considered:
PFMEA
Process improvement
Build documentation
Capital expenditure
Routings, BOM checking
Lean
BoM
Six sigma etc
Candidates with from 3 years relevant experience will be considered.
This is a hands on engineering role and you most likely have experience of some of the following manufacturing techniques:
machining
assembly
Plating (not essential)
The role is offered on a long term contract basis, paying £25 to £35 Ltd per hour, depending on what you can offer to the role. It is expected to last a minimum of 6 months, but most likely longer.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce standard operating procedures (SOPs)
NPI
Manage the introduction of new products ensuring new product specifications aid manufacture (DFM).
Create build documentation for new products and update existing documentation where required.
Support PFMEAs
Plan, organise and carry out process validation exercises
