Our Client, a large electronic engineering organisation are looking for an Engineering Administrator to be based in Chesham
Provide administrative support to the Engineering team for the control of Documents, Bills of Materials, Item Masters, Labels, Engineering Changes and Build Packs.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Check and approve Documents for completeness and format accuracy prior to release (documents are received from Agile, checked / amended and are then checked back in).
Ensure required approvals are obtained
Transfer engineering data to the company's ERP system
Communicate Changes to Production and Procurement
Provide build packs for Sub-contractors
Provide copies of released Documents on request
Update the Label database for new Parts and new Revisions
Record change requests in the Engineering database (AGILE Product Lifecycle Management)
Progress Engineering Changes
Transfer Engineering data from various sources into the Engineering database
Required skills & experience:
Advanced user in performing AGILE transactions, updates and performing interrogations
Electrical Engineering background
Confident working with engineering documentation (including document control and management).
Excellent IT skills
Meticulous, works in a structured manner and pays attention to detail
Strong background in documentation control
Experienced in making transactions and interrogating AGILE
