Job Description
You will be part Manufacturing Engineer, part Production Engineer.
The role is offered on a fixed term contract (likely to last 6-12 mths) basis offering a salary of £40 - £45k. However there is scope outside of this on a case by case basis.
To be considered, candidates will have all or some of the following skills, experience and qualifications.
Experience of machined components, welded/fabricated parts in alloy steels and production assembly would be ideal.
The role
Industrial Engineering
Developing and resolving assembly load path and tooling access issues create Industrial Engineering Concerns .
Support Manufacturing Engineering providing tooling designs and facility planning solutions, model data identifying key interface requirements to engineered components with tooling models.
process improvment, issue resolution
Thorough knowledge of manufacturing concepts
Previous experience of using lean manufacturing tools and techniques
Forward thinking, innovative approach to process design
Desired skills / experience:
Process control experience, APQP/PPAP
Process/systems orientated background
