Job Description
Purpose
·Supports Manufacturing
·Coordinates activities for production, materials, quality, health, safety and environment
·Assists the departments with administration assignments
·Provides general logistics support to the manufacturing floor
Duties:
·Schedules activities in the manufacturing process
·Ensure the timely delivery of goods as part of an overall master production schedule.
·Acts as the key planning interface with the procurement function
·Ensure correct timing of parts to support production.
·Allocates inventory to customer shipments
·Coordinates special requirements and inspections.
·Provides general logistics support to manufacturing floor such as processing material requisitions, sub-assembly paperwork closure and material relocation.
·Assists management with coordinating activities for production and materials.
·Maintains the databases, reports and records that are necessary to manufacturing operations activities.
·Makes additions to master schedule, expedited delivery, special requirements and replacement components
·Maintains customer delivery dates in line with customer requirements and master production schedule
Experience Required:
·Knowledge and experience in a manufacturing operations processes and the ability to coordinate activities for a team.
·Working knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) approaches and systems.
·Experience in production control or order scheduling.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel and Word
This role could suit a Production Coordinator, Production Planner, Production Controller, Logistics Controller, and Manufacturing Controller as well as a Manufacturing Coordinator
Salary is £26K to £28K
