We are looking to recruit a logistics Analyst with transport planning experience for our client on the outskirts of Manchester (Western Outskirts)
Manage the transportation operations associated within our plant.
Accountable for day to day results of managing the operations to meet the agreed upon KPI (key performance indicators) to ensure process effectiveness.
Responsible for leading the Transport Operation for multiple Clients in one Distribution Center department, meeting client's needs.
Transport operation includes receiving of Transport orders, Route planning, Client contacts and statutory regulations
Requires a broad background in all aspects of Transport operations with previous supervisory experience.
Must have very good knowledge of prevailing government requirements in the Transportation area.
Furthermore, good knowledge of other prevailing government requirements and local habits, manners and customs.
Must possess good skills in the areas of human relations and communications.
Swedish/English desired (although not essential),
Ideally at least 2-5 years in a similar role.
The client is ideally looking to pay £15- 17 (Ltd/Umbrella) (paye £12 - £13) to the successful candidate, however may have scope consider above this on a case by case/individual basis.
