Due to their recent contracts they have acquired they are looking to grow the team for the future.
The client is looking for a Technical operator to join their production team. This role involves a technical and mechanical understanding of all machines on the shop floor with an emphasis on quality control, planned preventative maintenance and operator mentoring.
The most suited candidate will show a keen interest in production engineering as well as be results driven.

The role will require the candidate to;
·Perform pre-run and post-run checks on machinery ensuring the machines are ready to run and set in the correct way.
·Perform periodic quality checks and rectify issues as they arise in a precise and timely manner.
·Keep the machines running to ensuring production is always the top priority.
·Perform planned maintenance cycles on all machinery within the factory.
·Liaise with machine operators, production management and engineering ensuring a constant flow of information.
·Mentor and train machine operators ensuring our operators are trained to the best possible level.
·Set and monitor the standards that our customers expect.
·Improve morale through training and development.
·Continually look for opportunities for efficiencies by driving a culture of cost-awareness & innovation.
·Communicate verbally with machine suppliers when dealing with breakdowns or ordering parts.
·Having the ability to read technical drawings and exploded diagrams.
·Have a working knowledge of workshop equipment and safe use.
·Be passionate about health and safety
·Be flexible and understanding that the role will evolve as time passes.
·Be able to identify machine issues and rectify these in a precise and timely manner.
