Job Description
Successful candidate will responsible for general maintenance of defined computer and network equipment and resolution of technical problems, covering three sites.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain, hardware and software on Windows and Linux Servers to include the following, but not limited to physical and virtual platforms, active directory, exchange email, Linux SLES, VMWare VCentre, GFI Languard, Sophos antivirus suite
Support of network equipment not limited to but including switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, microwave dishes, printers and scanners.1st/2nd line IT support onsite, via telephone, email and remote support.
Implement, manage and maintain workstations Win 7/10 including Office 2013-2019, antivirus and system updates / security updates and patches.
Install desktop VOIP phones, iPads, iPhones and Android devices Mimecast
Diagnose and repair a range of IT related devices
Maintain and update IT network documentation, and monitor network performance statistics
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Provide support on ad hoc project work
Skills and Experience Required:
Previous experience of working within an IT support role
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Excellent communication skills
IT Support: 5 years (Preferred)
Windows:5 years (Preferred)
Linux Servers: 5 years (Preferred)
