Job Description
This is a 12 months contract role with the probability of a permanent position at the end of 12 months.
The pay rate on contract will be £13.00 per hour PAYE, and the salary will be c£25K when it goes permanent.
Candidates need to have previous experience of working in a manufacturing company, in an expediting or purhcasing role where there was continuous liaison with suppliers to ensure the ontime delivery of components to match the production schedule.
Duties:
Coordinate the purchasing response to MRP.
Liaise with suppliers to action material requests.
Raise purchase orders in SAP.
Expedite all purchased parts that need to be chased with suppliers.
Work with suppliers to ensure arrears are managed correctly.
Generate late parts reports to update others at daily team meetings.
Manage supplier order books and acknowledgements weekly.
