Electronics Support Engineer Full Time
To support our growing number of OEM customers around the world with our growing number of OEM products particularly for the refrigeration and IoT industry.
To advise on use and application of our products, to analyse and solve electronic and technical problems, to advise on device configuration and programming and to make recommendation to the R&D team for product enhancements.
They will work closely with the design team and receive product training on new products, application software and systems.
Should be qualified to BSc level in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or similar and have at least 3 years relevant experience in industry.
The right candidate should have experience in helping customers with technical issues, fault-finding and repair on micro-electronic circuits, devising and running tests and experiments.
Good skills in personal communication, writing clear instructions, keeping accurate records, fluent in computer use, able in the use of electronic test equipment.
You should understand the operation of analogue, digital and microcontroller circuits and devices.
Knowledge and experience of refrigeration systems would be an advantage but not essential.
You should be able to readily travel overseas from time to time on company business.
The prospective candidate should not hold a passport which prevents them from travelling at short notice.
All candidates should be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in small teams. You should be keenly aware of the need of an international leader in OEM products to rapidly and effectively support their customers in a friendly and professional manner.
You will need to be flexible in the tasks they undertake and will report to the Chief Electronics Engineer.
Salaries offered will be dependent on qualifications and experience in the range of £30k to £35k pa. Annual leave is 22 days with additional discretionary 3 days at Christmas.
