Electronic Design Engineer
Eastbourne, East Sussex
£40,000 - £45,000 + benefits
We are currently recruiting for an Electronics Design Engineer based in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
This is going to be a permanent position and the salary will range from £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
Working within a team of talented engineers, you will be responsible for delivering electronic design solutions.
Key responsibilities:
Design and develop power electronic solutions for both high and low voltage Drive applications
Design and develop low voltage analogue & digital electronic solutions for Drive applications
Liaise with software, mechanical and manufacturing engineers to deliver complete integrated Drive solutions
Produce professional, well documented, design and test specifications for all design work undertaken
Work independently on bespoke designs with a comprehensive set of test results
Demonstrate a strong understanding of: design for reliability; design for manufacturing and design for safety
Demonstrate a strong understanding of design for EMC
Key skills required:
Must have electronics design experience ideally power systems or power control systems
Experience of Power, analogue and digital electronics
Experience of using electronic design and CAD tools
Experience of design & reliability techniques
Good understanding of embedded software
Strong EMC experience
Experience in writing technical documentation would be advantageous
