Electrical Engineer – Control Panels
 
Do you have a background in Control Panels?
Are you competent troubleshooting on PLCs?

We have an opportunity to work for a market leader a& well respected company in the local area.
 
 
They are looking for an Electrical Engineer with a good background in control panels, control panel wiring & PLC troubleshooting on complete systems.
You will be a key member of the team and will in addition to being the Electrical Engineer wiring and helping develop the whole system, be assisting the company in improving the workforce throughout the company on sub assembly build & technician training.
You will need to be able to assist in modifying & updating build process & written procedures in addition to.

Essential Skills
 
To quickly acquire a good working knowledge of all electrical and control aspects of the company range
To train a new production team of varying skills in all aspects of the electrical and controls assembly.
To write protocols, standard operating procedures and quality standard documents for the product.
To work as part of the production team in the manufacture of these products.
To take part in quality control, commissioning, final assembly testing and factory acceptance testing and resolve issues and root cause identify and eliminate sources of error.
When factory operation is established, running effectively and achieving the desired capacity, the job holder may be asked to train in control panel design throughout the company & wider group product & to act as a deputy and cover for the existing electrical design engineer.
At a later stage the job holder will be expected go to site on occasion to help resolve breakdown, commissioning or other issues with company products
Experience of wiring, control systems and PLC interaction is essential
A logical engineering mind, good problem solving skills, and good communication skills with people at all levels are essential attributes also.
