Job Description

Engine Development - FMEA Specialist

1. Development and validation work with core, air, fluid and after-treatment systems and components.
2. Conducting FMEA on components and systems to identify and address design risks and determine validation needs.
3. Working with the validation team to plan and execute validation tests.
4. Preparing technical reports to sign off validated components and systems.
5. Keeping peers, team leader and management up to date with progress against planned activities.
6. Support field and production issues, diagnose issues to root cause, put in place containment actions, and develop permanent corrective actions. Work with suppliers and keep stakeholder informed of progress and decisions.
7. Project Management within Product development Environment
8. Knowledge of Automotive development

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Essential:
1. Good Validation Exp
2. Good understanding of Manufacturing principles & processes
3. Development experience of engine components and systems, including both rig and whole engine testing.
4. Good understanding of engine design
5. Self-motivation and an ability to manage and deliver tasks to meet established commitments.

Desirable:
1. Knowledge of engine systems
2. Experience of driving and participating in FMEA
3. Exp of NI DIAdem
