Milling or Turning (Fanuc, Heidenhain or similar)
We are looking to recruit a machinist to help support a large manufacturing & assembly company.
The company manufacture & assemble a variety of interesting products and are looking for a person to work within their machine shop.
You ideally be a proficient CNC Turner, CNC Miller & have experience of using manual Lathes & Mills.
However the client is happy to look at candidates who specialise in one area of CNC Machining (in particular Milling). So please apply if you have expertise in only one area of either Milling or Lathe Turning.
As long as you are able to set & operate at least a CNC Mill or Lathe we should be able to organise work to accommodate you!
Working with a variety of materials ranging from Aluminium, Stainless Steel to Inconel.
Will need to be able to program, set & operate CNC Machinery (ideally Fanuc or Heidenhain, however most control systems will be considered)
In addition, Ideally you will also be a good all round machinist who is able to use both Lathes & Mills.
Should you also be able to use Manual machinery this too would be an added benefit
Must be able to perform basic inspection duties, and be flexible in their work duties
Long term ongoing contract, this will be working with a company who traditionally offer contracts far in excess of 1 yr +
Hourly rate £12 (paye) £14.50 - £15 Ltd per hour (depending on experience)
