Job Role:
• Managing the QS aspects of complex schemes from inception to completion including cost control, planning, forecasting, estimation and agreement of the final account
• On-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair work
• Feasibility studies and early stage cost advice and cost management
• Reporting on the financial positon of projects to Clients
• Contract Administration and Employer's Agent roles
• Procuring and tendering of work to contractors
• Analysing completed work and arranging payment to contractors
• Site visits, assessments and projections for future work
• Writing reports and preparing documents (plans, contracts, budgets etc.)
• Risk Analysis Evaluations
• Supervision and guidance of junior staff

Hiring Criteria, Knowledge & Skills:
• MRICS - non-negotiable
• Employer's Agent experience - desirable
• Experience in Housing, Leisure and Education sectors of the Construction Industry
• Computer Literate; elective report writing and the ability to converse with a diverse range of people at all levels
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Motivate and lead a team; ability to take responsibility and deliver results
• Ability to negotiate and manage Client expectations
