Job Description
We are currently recruiting for BI Solutions Architect & Developer in Hertfordshire.
This is a permanent role with a with a salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
The role holder will work with business leads to identify, design and deliver BI Solutions built on a Global Data Warehouse that support & enable data insights.
These will drive efficient business processes and the functionality required by the users to perform their duties.
They will identify user requirements for systems based on existing and projected operational procedures and practices; translate requirements into functional specifications; ensure the final system functionality meets the user requirements and provide user support for the resulting applications.
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience with Microsoft BI and Azure Data Analytics tools: SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, MDS, Power BI (Desktop and Service), Azure SQL DB, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Azure HDInsight, Azure Data Factory
• Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts including: data modelling, data quality, ELTETL, reporting, analytics, and visualization
• Knowledge of cloud solutions, Azure in particular, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Experience designing and developing Data Analytics solutions in a project-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, data analytics or related field is desirable
