We are currently recruiting for a Senior Avionics Design Engineer based in Gosport, Hampshire.
This is going to be a 3 6-month contract and you will be responsible for providing technical support in the area of avionics systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a senior engineer and a CVE to provide guidance and assistance to the team
- Provide technical direction to the team and provide signature to response for avionics queries
- Complete reviews and decide whether additional design data is required
- Support the generation of quotes, liaising with the design team
- Review and plan for incentivised tasks to ensure compliance with the output date
- Assist with the development of modification packages
- Supervise specific projects, designers and sub-contractors
Key skills required:
- Aerospace Design office and avionics design experience
- Experience of dealing with MoD including MAA
- Experience of dealing with CAA/EASA
